Petrol Bill Generator is a free, browser-based utility that produces printable Indian petrol-pump-style thermal receipts (BP, IOCL, HP and Shell layouts) in PDF format. Every field on the receipt is editable — station name, address, receipt number, rate per litre, volume, amount, date, time, and attendant ID. There is no signup, no watermark and no download limit for normal use. The PDF is rendered entirely in your browser using client-side JavaScript, so form data never leaves your device except for a single anonymous counter increment on the server.
Built and maintained by Sahil Tomar, an independent Indian developer working on lightweight, fast, single-purpose web tools. The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages with a Cloudflare Workers API backend and a small D1 SQLite database that only stores an anonymous generation counter. No user data ever touches a persistent store, no tracking cookies are set, and analytics is limited to aggregate Google Analytics pageviews. Contact: [email protected]. Reconstructing a lost petrol receipt for expense reimbursement; testing expense-management workflows, OCR pipelines and receipt-parsing software; designing thermal-printer templates that match Indian petrol pumps; educational demos of accounting, GST and reimbursement mechanics. Submitting a generated receipt as evidence of a purchase that did not happen is fraud in most jurisdictions — you are responsible for how you use the PDF.
